Cooking Tips

Any tips for cooking GoodWheat products?

GoodWheat Pasta: Follow the cooking instructions listed on your box. Start tasting the pasta about a minute before the shortest cook time on the box; we recommend tasting the noodles every minute or so until they reach your desired texture. Our pasta is delicious al dente! GoodWheat pasta takes about 2-3 minutes longer than regular pasta to cook due to its higher-fiber content. But trust us, it's worth the wait.

GoodWheat Pancake & Waffle Mixes: Follow the instructions on the back of your Pancake & Waffle Mix pouch to whip up some tasty pancakes, and add your favorite toppings to enjoy a breakfast stacked with fiber and flavor. In a waffle mood? Add 1 tbsp of oil for every cup of mix. Stir well, and follow the waffle iron’s instructions for how to cook. You bring the syrup, we’ll bring the fiber.

GoodWheat Quikcakes™: Follow the instructions on the side of your box to learn how to whip up a warm, delicious pancake in just minutes! Once you whisk the mix and water together, our high-fiber dough should be hearty and thick, so don’t add any more water than what is listed on the instructions. You can microwave on high for 75 seconds and let sit for 2-3 minutes for maximum fluffiness, or try it on the middle griddle! Then, add your favorite toppings and syrup. Breakfast solved.

GoodWheat Mac & Cheese: Follow the instructions on the side of your box to make our mac. Once you cook and drain the pasta, do not rinse it. Add the butter, milk, and cheese sauce mix as listed on the instructions, and stir until creamy. Dinner (or lunch!) solved.

Why does it take longer to cook GoodWheat pasta?

Our noodles take a couple of minutes longer because of their higher-fiber content. But trust us, it's worth the wait. You can't rush perfection!
