Ingredients:

Marinara Sauce

  • ¼ c. Olive oil                      
  • ½ c. Onion, Spanish, chopped                     
  • 1 Tbsp. Garlic, minced                   
  • 28oz Tomatoes, whole, San Marzano, hand crushed                         
  • ¼ c. Basil, fresh, chopped              
  • 1 Tbsp. Sugar, granulated                            
  • 1 Tbsp. Salt, kosher                        

Pasta

  • 6oz GoodWheat Fettuccine Pasta, dry                     
  • 1 tsp. Black pepper, ground                        
  • ¼ c. Parmesan, grated    

How to Make:

Step 1. 

Cook fettucine according to packaging instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

Step 2.

Add the olive oil and onions to a saucepot, and cook over medium heat for 5-7 minutes, or until the onions are soft and translucent. Add the garlic and cook for another 2 minutes.

Step 3. 

Add crushed tomatoes, sugar, and salt. Stir to combine.

Step 4.

Cover pot, allow sauce to come to a simmer, then reduce heat to low, and let simmer for 35 to 40 minutes.

Step 5.

Fold in chopped basil and simmer for 5 minutes.

Step 6.

Add the cooked fettucine and black pepper into marinara sauce and stir to combine.

Step 7.

Remove spaghetti from heat and garnish with Parmesan cheese.
