Ingredients:

  • 12 oz. GoodWheat Fettuccine
  • 1 Tbsp. olive oil
  • 2 Tbsp. garlic, minced
  • 3 Tbsp. all-purpose flour
  • 1 c. vegetable stock
  • 1 c. low-fat milk
  • 1 c. Parmesan cheese
  • 1 Tbsp. Kosher salt
  • 1 tsp. black pepper
  • 1 1/2 tsp. lemon juice
  • 1/4 c. parsley, chopped

How to Make:

Step 1.

  • Cook pasta according to package directions. 

Step 2.

  • In a large saucepan, heat olive oil over medium heat and sweat garlic until aromatic, about one minute.

Step 3.

  • Stir in flour and cook an additional minute. Whisk in vegetable stock until smooth.

Step 4.

  • Whisk in milk and bring to a simmer. Cook until slightly thickened. 

Step 5.

  • Stir in ¾ C parmesan cheese, kosher salt, black pepper, and lemon juice.

Step 6.

  • Combine pasta with garlic alfredo sauce. Toss to combine.

Step 7.

  • Plate. Garnish with remaining parmesan cheese, parsley, and fresh cracked black pepper.
